The annual Apple (and Pear) Pressing time has arrived - hopefully you have spent the last few weeks scrumping….Head to the Southland Community Nursery at 1pm (or stay on with your shared lunch after the normal Friday morning session).  Bring plastic containers for your juice.  Please park at 183 Grant Road  More info from Chris 2131161

Join us on Sunday 8th May 1pm at the Otatara Community Hall for a ‘rigorous exploration’ of the Otatara Scenic Reserve.  The afternoon will kick off with Maurice Rodway sharing the wonders of the waterways in the Reserve.  Lloyd Esler will then embark on his adventure, across the middle to the Dunn’s Road chalet/toilet/carpark.  Can you navigate with compass/GPS?  An expedition not for the faint hearted, bring your gumboots, scratch proof clothing and gloves to pull out a few weeds on the way

Friday 19 February - Native Plant Seed Collecting Workshop – 1-3pm Southland Community Nursery, 185 Grant Road (ph Chris 2131161). www.southlandcommunitynursery.org.nz (park at 183 Grant Road car park). Gold Coin Donation.

Monday 22 February - Chilean flame creeper removal, Bowman’s Bush, Ruru Ave – 7pm-9pm (ph Randall 2130851)
