Friday 2nd May (note change of date from 9th) - Apple Pressing at Southland Community Nursery - 1pm-4pm. Bring your own apples and containers for juice and a koha, we will supply the apple press. Lots going on in March!

Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 March Southland Girls High School Breakout days at Bushy Point, volunteer help always appreciated (ph Barry 2131500). This replaces our March Bushy Point working day so feel free to come and help.    
 
Saturday 15 March Landcare Groups Networking day hosted by the Otatara Landcare Group (Booking essential ph Nathan Environment Southland 2115115)

Southland Bird Week – a week of Birding activities around Invercargill including Otatara events (ph Lloyd 2130404).  Look out for local advertising for all events.
 
Bird Conservation Day at the Southland Community Nursery Nature Centre 1pm-4pm – park 183 Grant Road–Learn about bird feeders, learn about plants to feed birds, pest control, see the display of bird photographs and children’s drawings, get the full programme of events for the week  (ph Lloyd 2130404) 
 
Bush Haven Bird Rehabilitation Centre - Open daily during Bird Week 24-29 March - 49 Bryson Road 10am-5.30pm daily (ph Russell or May 2130530)

Next Event Family Fun Afternoon at Bushy Point Sunday 2 March 2014 - 1pm-3pm

The Bushy Point walkway starts at Bryson Road, Otatara. On 2 March 2014 - 1pm-3pm there will be a Family Fun afternoon at the new Nature Walk by the pond. Lots of activities - bring a snack or picnic - see you there!
